Classroom Creations

Educational Projects

Since 2006, I've been creating all kinds of teaching resources for students and teachers. I aim to educate through fun while ensuring that my students are achieving their educational objectives.

Academic Programs

I've had the unique experience of working for 10years in South Korea in a variety of teaching environments. In each school I've worked in I've been responsible for both creating and supervising the creation of different academic programs.

English Centers

English centers are special schools where students are immersed into classrooms which simulate real-life places, such as a restaurant, supermarket, or a hospital.

I was fortunate to join the opening teams of 3 different English centers. At one center, I was responsible for almost the entirety of the program content.

Public Schools

I've taught students from kindergarten to middle school. In addition to daily teaching, I created content for summer and winter English camps.

Curriculum Design

I've created curriculum for several programs. Below are some example pages from an English camp that I assembled. The content was created between me and my team. I gathered the final pages and used Photoshop to create and manipulate the artwork for each page.

Professional Development

I love to share information to help teachers be better teachers. This includes teaching principles and concepts, design tools, and online resources.

Vlog

I started a series about online resources available to teachers. I shared these videos to my training group while moderating for the Chungcheongbuk-do Office of Education.

Training Materials

As a training coordinator, I researched, organized, and distributed materials that were used to promote the professional development of the district's teachers.

Classroom Games

Below are a couple of games I made to motivate my students. They are intended to be played in the classroom and setup by the teacher to review vocabulary words. They were created with Multimedia Fusion 2 and exported as Flash files.

Circle's Fight

This is a simple platformer with 5 levels. The vocabulary words get scrambled and then must be unscrambled to unlock different levels.

Foor Dours:
A digital boardgame

This is a boardgame where students play different kinds of fantasy characters. The characters will venture around the board fighting monsters and finding treasure while answering review questions.
